The company came highly recommended from a coworker. Not only was Pam super helpful and explained the entire process over the phone to my wife and I, but Kevin was on time and super professional with his findings and results. Even our home insurance agent complemented on the very detailed notes on the home. 10/10 would recommend this company again and to anyone looking for a home inspection.” – Review of Clear View Inspection Group By Aaron Dorsey

Well Testing

Clear View Inspection Group will check your well system to ensures it’s in good condition and the water meets health standards.
Additional testing may be required if Escherichia coli (E.coli) is detected. Well chlorination is the standard treatment for this condition. Well location in relationship to setback requirements from ponds, septic and property lines may also be part of the well test. Questions? Contact Clear View Inspection Group for more details.

What Well Testing Consists Of

A flow test is performed and designed to quantify the volume of water available to be pumped from the well. This test usually requires a consistent flow of water over a set period of time followed by a measurement of the volume of water the well can produce.

Septic Testing

Clear View Inspection Group will conduct a thorough examination to evaluate each component of your septic system.

A septic inspection is an objective evaluation of the onsite wastewater treatment system. In accordance with NACHI standards, we’ll evaluate each part of the system and provide a narrative report of the septic system’s condition at the time of the inspection.

Please note: The inspection is not a warranty or guarantee that the system will function properly in the future, or that the soil is currently treating or will adequately treat effluent. It’s an assessment of the system’s health at the current time.

Radon Testing

Clear View Inspection Group will set up a radon test to measure the ongoing level of radon in your home.
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is a by-product of the radioactive decay of uranium and radium. Studies have shown that people exposed to both high and low levels of radon have an increased occurrence of lung cancer.

Radon gas is colorless, odorless and tasteless, so the only way to determine the level of radon in your home is to test for it. The radon inspection service includes the placement of testing devices to measure the ongoing level of radon in habitable areas of the home.

These measurements evaluate the level of radon to determine if any form of improvement is required. Per the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), you should take steps to resolve the issue if the radon level is 4pCi/l or higher. The EPA document A Citizen’s Guide to Radon (Third Edition) provides the basic information everyone should know about radon. For more information on how to reduce your radon health risk, call your state radon office for copies of the guides listed below:
